long does installation take?
Installation of solar
panels for your home or business usually takes just one day for systems
less than 3kW and longer for larger systems also depending on the
difficulty of the site. The meter installer then comes out within a few
weeks of the solar panel installation to install the new meter that
measures how much solar electricity you feed into the grid.
Q: How
long is the warranty?
The panels Surjo
Energy
uses have a 25 year manufacturer’s warranty and it depends which panel
you chose. We only use solar panels from reputable multi-national
companies who will be around to honor your warranty and the warranties
are held in Australia.
The
inverters also have either 12 years warranty. Surjo Energy

Q: Does
the solar system require batteries?
No. The system directly connected to the grid with no batteries
required.
Q: Who
qualifies for the STCs (formerly known as RECs) rebate or Solar Credits
Scheme?
Now solar power rebate is called the Solar Credits Scheme and it is for
everybody. The rebate is available for systems installed on homes,
rental properties, business premises. If you own more than one property
you can now receive a rebate for each one. Surjo Energy offer this rebate

Q: If
I missed the 27/10/10 deadline what is available if I order a solar
panel system now?
People who will install solar system after 28th Oct 2010 are eligible
for the new NSW gross feed in tariff scheme of 20c/kWh. That means you
will receive 20c/kWh for all the electricity your system generates. This
equates to approximately $700 per year on a 1.5kW solar electricity
system up to $4,060 per year for a 10kW system. This is still an
excellent tax free return on investment....better than putting your
money in the bank.
